As many Event Decor Direct visitors may already be aware of, the company’s website recently began sporting a new blue background but even more important adjustments are currently taking place. Some of the adjustments include a new watermarking feature to deter image theft by other websites, enhanced product display screens with improved button styles, new shipping timeframe displays along with new shipping method and country of origin displays, and another dozen adjustments to the front-end.
Behind the scenes, new functionalities are being integrated into the operational systems of Event Decor Direct. These include auto-blogging and auto-twittering features to broadcast new products as they are added, along with many other processes to improve the customer experience and improve efficiency of company operations.
Andrew Walker, a director at Event Decor Direct, says ”the new watermarking technology only applies to JPEG files and has caused an unforeseen circumstance which has interfered with the display of some images on the site. We expected glitches like this to occur and have a staff member working on updating the images, this should be resolved sometime in the next week or so. We are also getting one step closer to being able to upload our entire product catalog of over 5000 items. The next few months will be very busy for us and we hope to have the entire project completed by early January.”
